  2. Kashayam or Kasayam (Herbal Drink) – For each condition Dr. Khadar suggests decoction of specific leaves that one can make easily at home.
  3. Siridhanya Millet (Positive Millet) – 5 positive millet (Kodo, Little, Foxtail, Barnyard, Browntop) are core of siridhanya food protocols. These grains have disease reversal properties that are unmatched with all other grains like Wheat, Rice, Bajra, Jowar etc.
  4. Bull Driven Oils (Cold-Pressed Oils) – Good fats hold special place in Siridhanya Lifestyle and Dr Khadar suggests to use oils that are extracted using bull-driven churns as this method retains all the natural properties of seeds in tact.

2. Kashayam or Kasayam (Herbal Drink)

Drinking herbal decoctions have been a very old practice traditionally. Grandmothers used to suggest different ‘kashayas’ depending on the symptoms of patients. According to Dr. Khadar Vali, deadly diseases like different cancers could be kept at bay by drinking certain ‘kashayas’ (herbal decoctions) along with eating siridhanyalu. Many people are getting their lives revived.

What is Kashaya (Kashayalu) – Kashaya is a simple preparation that is quite similar to Kardha (काढ़ा) or Herbal Tea or Natural Health Drink or Green Tea. Kashayam are made from plant leaves, bark, stem or roots/tubers.

For each protocol Dr. Khadar suggests 3-5 leaves for Kashayam and you can take any 3 leaves from the list. Take one leave for one week and then rotate.

It is best to take fresh leaves, if you can not find fresh leaves daily, you can collect bunch of leaves from near by park, nursery and keep it for one week in fridge and use them daily. You can also use stem in some cases. Never use leave powers as they will not be as beneficial.

Kashayam helps us in many ways. It helps strengthen our immune system, it also helps in detoxing our body, and also act as prebiotics (helps in growth of beneficial microorganisms in the intestine).

3. Siridhanya Millet

Siridhanya, commonly called Millets (or Positive Millet, or Minor Millet). They are small grains which grow without the help of pesticides, fertilizers and harvests with very little water. They are – Kodo Millet, Foxtail Millet, Barnyard Millet, Browntop Millet, Little Millet.

Each protocol lists 5 positive millet to be eaten as per given schedule in the protocol. Let’s take an example – if your protocol suggests –

  • Kodo Millet -2
  • Foxtail Millet – 2
  • Barnyard Millet – 1
  • Browntop Millet -1
  • Little Millet -1

It means, you start with Kodo Millet and eat Kodo Millet for two days (1st and 2nd day), and then from third day you start Foxtail Millet and eat Foxtail Millet for two days (3rd and 4th day) and on fifth day you eat Barnyard Millet for one day and then on 6th day you eat Browntop Millet, and finally on 8th day you eat Little Millet.

Once this cycle is complete you go back to Kodo Millet and then continue.

Some important rules of consuming, cooking of millet –

  1. Soak millet for at least 6-8 hours before cooking
  2. Wash millet once or twice before soaking
  3. If you want, you can use the water you used for soaking
  4. Only use Un-polished Millet or Buchchi Method Millet – it is even more important if you have chronic problem or severe health issue
  5. If you have any chronic problem or severe health issues Dr. Khadar suggests to consume millet in form of Ambali (Fermented Daliya) for 6-8 weeks only. This helps maintain and balance gut microbiota.
  6. Although you can make any dish with millet, but Dr. Khadar suggests consuming millet in form of Ganji (Daliya) form and Ambali form at least once in 10-15 days.

4. Bull Driven Oils (Healthy Fats)

One of the key reasons for the explosion of cancer is the refined cooking oils we use. Many components get released in the process of crude oil refinement. This mineral oil along with other synthetic chemicals are mixed with sunflower and coconut oils before they are packed and sold in the market.

Cold-pressed oils are extracted from organic seeds/plants that are crushed using traditional methods in ‘Kohlu’. Bulls are used to rotate a natural wooden roller under low temperature to retain natural taste and nutrition of the mustard seeds.

Cold pressed oils retain healthy antioxidants that are otherwise damaged by being exposed to heat. Antioxidants help combat free radicals that cause cell damage in the body. Most cold pressed oils are rich in vitamin E, which has anti-inflammatory and healing properties.

How to consume oils?

You should consume cold-pressed oils in cooking, so replace your refined oils with cold-pressed oils. you can keep 2-3 different oils that are locally available in your region and rotate them every few days.

Further Dr. Khadar suggests to take 2-3 spoons of cold-pressed oils empty stomach in the morning. These oils have healthy fats that help in many conditions like PCOD, Thyroid, ADHD and many others.

While you can consume any locally available cold-pressed oils for cooking, but there are specific oils for each condition that you should consume in the morning. Check your protocol for more details.
